Flow Discovery works out from a business story how a process runs through the system. The analyst just describes what happens: the customer reports a claim and is eventually notified. From that, the system walked the map step by step.
It starts at the portal and goes through assessment to payout. Where the trail breaks off, it doesn't hide it: it marks it as an unknown step. Every step comes with its reasoning and evidence.
Two scores show how well the map supports it and how well it fits the story. If something doesn't add up, it says so. It doesn't throw away the side paths either.
The branches set aside are kept, together with the reasons. The Steps view shows it as a list too, so the analyst can go through it in order.
